Géraldine Danon, born in 1968, is a French writer, director, and maritime explorer. Daughter of producer Raymond Danon and goddaughter of Alain Delon, she initially pursued an acting career before turning to writing and ocean exploration. Author of eight works published by Gallimard, she has sailed the world’s seas for fifteen years with her family, from the Arctic to the Antarctic. As a director of about twenty documentaries on her polar expeditions, she combines maritime passion with environmental commitment.
