Christian Martin, born December 17, 1954, graduated from the Institut Français de Photographie, class of 1972. After working as an assistant at the Carnot studio, he began selling paintings on the Place du Tertre and in the USA. In 1979, he became Francis Giacobetti’s assistant, and from 1980, he worked for Lui magazine, where he took charge of the auto section. His collaborations extend to Elle, Auto Journal, Newlook, VSD, L’Équipe Mag, Gala, Vélo Mag, Jeune & Jolie, Sport Auto, Auto Plus, Automobiles Classiques, Rétroviseur, Auto-Rétro… He also works for manufacturers such as Peugeot-Citroën, Audi, Opel and BMW. Christian Martin is the author of a dozen books dedicated to his passion
